Candy AI token math: what 100 a month buys and what a series costs
Candy AI pricing has two layers: Premium, the paid plan, and tokens, the credits that unlock paid episodes. Candy AI Premium adds 100 tokens a month, and the first two episodes of nearly all series are token-free. Paid episodes start at episode 3: as of October 20, 2026, they cost 12 tokens each in standard series and 30 in creator series. The five Spicy creator series charge 50, Spicy being the tag for the adult-content shelf. With 100 tokens a month you unlock eight 12-token episodes or three of the 30-token kind. Finishing a series then costs:
- A standard 5-episode Candy Shorts series: 3 paid episodes at 12 tokens, so 36 tokens.
- A 5-episode creator series such as My Wife's Best Friend: 3 at 30, so 90 tokens.
- A 5-episode Spicy creator series such as Professor Mia: 3 at 50, so 150 tokens, with episodes 1 and 2 at 0 tokens on Premium.
- YES MA'AM, 30 episodes: 28 paid at 12, so 336 tokens.
- My bestie betrayed me, 34 episodes: 32 paid at 12, so 384 tokens.
A month of Candy AI tokens finishes two standard series with 28 to spare, or one creator series with 10 left. The 150-token bill takes two monthly allowances and the 336-token one takes four. One line on the Candy.ai paywall is easy to misread. It says "Unlock all premium episodes", yet Premium does not make episodes free: each paid episode still takes tokens. The unlock window promises "Yours forever. No ads, no waiting.", which is the real trade, tokens for lasting access to that episode.
How I tested this
I test on a Premium account, so the token costs below come from paid episodes I unlocked, not from a price list: the plans page does not show them. The plan prices are the ones on the plans page today, October 20, 2026.
- The plan prices and badges in the table below are the ones on the Candy.ai plans page as of October 20, 2026.
- A paid episode costs 12 tokens in 139 open series and 30 in the 14 creator series.
- On Premium, episodes 1 and 2 of a Spicy series cost 0 tokens, and later episodes cost 30 tokens, or 50 in the five Spicy creator series.
- Refunds and cancellation follow sections 9 and 10 of the Terms of Service in force today.
The series bills in this guide are my own sums: a token count from the series pages, multiplied by the paid episodes. The dollar figures divide each plan's price by the episodes its monthly tokens buy, so you can redo any of them with a calculator.
Candy AI price: three plans on October 20
The Candy Shorts price has a monthly part and a per-episode part. Candy.ai offers Premium in three lengths, and these are the dollar prices on the plans page as of October 20, 2026, with local taxes added on top where they apply.

The 12-month and 3-month cards also show $13.99 struck through. Those two plans renew for the same price and term; the monthly plan renews at $13.99 after the $9.99 first month. You cancel from your Candy.ai settings. The perks list covers building your own AI companion, 18+ video and image generation, a live-action mode, unlimited text chat and 100 tokens a month. For Candy Shorts, only the last item matters.
Is Candy AI worth it? Counting the cost per episode
If you only want Candy Shorts episodes, divide each plan's price by the eight 12-token episodes that 100 tokens buy. The 12-month plan comes to about $0.50 an episode. The 3-month plan is about $1.12, the $9.99 first month about $1.25 and the monthly plan at $13.99 about $1.75. Those figures assume you spend the whole allowance on 12-token episodes and ignore the other perks.
Creator and Spicy episodes on Candy.ai use more tokens, so they cost more money. At 30 tokens, 100 tokens buy three episodes: about $1.33 each on the 12-month plan and $4.66 each on the monthly plan. Candy's own weekly top 10 on October 20 held five Spicy series, including the first four places, so a Candy Shorts watch list that follows it lands in the 30 to 50 token tier. Having watched them, I think the higher price buys something real: the Spicy titles, and the creator ones most of all, are the most carefully produced on the shelf, and the digital twins look like the creators they stand for. So is it worth it? For standard series the math is kind. For my money, the free episodes decide: if the first two hook you, a plan pays back, and if they don't, you have spent no money at all.
How to cancel a Candy AI subscription, and when you get a refund
Open your Candy.ai account, go to Settings and choose Unsubscribe (Terms, section 10.1). The plan keeps running until your paid period ends, and the next period is not charged. Cancel before the renewal date, because a renewal is billed on day one of the new period. A plan change, up or down, takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Outside the EU and UK you have 24 hours after payment to ask for a refund. Candy.ai denies it past 20 tokens used, only card purchases qualify, and a technical issue on your side does not count. EU and UK buyers can withdraw within 14 days of the first purchase without giving a reason. Candy.ai then returns what you paid minus a prorated amount for the service you used, and renewals fall outside that right.
The 24-hour window and the 20-token ceiling work together. A second 12-token episode already pushes you past 20, and a single 30-token creator episode does too. The Terms also exclude refunds for moderation actions and for characters or content that Candy.ai removes or changes.
Discount codes on Candy.ai: what the plans page shows
On October 20 the plans page showed three offers: the 70% badge on 12 months, 35% on 3 months and 29% on the first month. It showed no free trial, and it has no code or coupon field. So I can't hand you a code, and I won't invent one. A code posted on a deal site, or an offer of Premium at no cost, has no source in what Candy.ai displays. Mod files that promise unlocked episodes are a leak-page trap, not a discount.
The Terms of Candy.ai add one detail: it may offer selected users promotions at its own discretion, such as bonus tokens after a minimum spend. That is an invitation, not a code you can look up. The smallest first payment on Candy.ai is the $9.99 first month, and what you can watch at no cost needs no payment at all. Prices can rise too, with notice given ahead of the first renewal at the new price. The other payment clauses are covered in the safety review.
My call on the money
Start free on Candy Shorts. The opening episodes are token-free, and they show you whether a series is worth 36 tokens. The 12-month plan is the cheapest per episode, but it bills $47.88 at once and refunds close after 24 hours, so the $9.99 first month or the 3-month plan is the safer way to begin. Skip Premium if you only want teasers or a single short series. Spicy and long Candy Shorts series are the expensive end: 150 tokens means two months of allowance and 336 means four.
