Then a voice calls "Colonel on deck," and the recruits whisper about whether Demont is his sister or his wife. After the platoon is dismissed, you admit you should be worried and aren't. She catches your smirk and orders you to her office for punishment. The episode ends on your private reaction, said to yourself: "I'll take any punishment she can give."
Swamp mud on the office floor
Episode 2 stays in and around her office. You report as ordered, and she's pleased you showed, since she hates chasing cowards. Swamp mud has been tracked across the floor, and your job is to scrub it on your knees while she goes to shower, and to be done by the time she's out.
Most of the episode is your own voice-over while she showers: a running reminder not to look that you keep losing. She orders you in, says she can see you only pretending to clean, and makes it an order. Her last line promises a surprise, as long as the floor is finished.
Where YES MA'AM can take a forbidden romance
The setup is a secret that can't last in daylight. She commands the unit, her husband is the Colonel, and you are the one recruit who sees more than the uniform. Episodes 1 and 2 set the stakes: the rank gap, the Colonel's shadow over the base and her authority as cover.
