Who owes whom after episode 1
Episode 1 opens on the stepsister in the middle of a phone call, trading blunt stories with a friend. Then she collides with her stepbrother in a doorway. She says she didn't see him and calls it an accident. He sees his only clean shirt soaked and wants to know if she's serious. She shoots back that he was standing in the doorway like he owns the place.
Their dad steps in and asks what happened. The stepbrother tells it, the stepsister swears it was an accident, and their dad says he doesn't care and that they have to go now. On the way out, the stepbrother warns that she'll pay for this. She answers with a promise to make it up to him, as she says she usually does. The episode closes on her back on the phone, saying she hates her stepbrother, then admitting his staring was kind of cute and kind of funny.
Neither stepsibling gets a name in the free pair: he addresses her as stepsister, and as stepsie when he's teasing, while she refers to him only as her stepbrother. A friend on the phone and their dad round out the cast.
The car wash in episode 2
Episode 2 moves to a later morning. The stepbrother tells her that their dad wants the car washed and that she's doing it. When she asks why her, he says she still owes him for last morning, unless she'd like to settle the debt another way. Her answer is disgust. He shrugs that it's up to her and that their dad will be very angry. She gives in with a flat "Fine."
He has already set the whole scene up for her. She says she can't believe him, he warns her to watch out, and she reacts with a protest that he really needed to do that. The episode ends on her calling him a pervert. Episode 1 creates the debt and the staring, and episode 2 lets him collect, with a chore he can lean on and an offer she rejects.

I rate it 4 of 5: strong, with explicit scenes making up a big part of the paid stretch. The opening pair doesn't deliver that. The screen stays clothed in both episodes, and the heat is verbal: crude talk and a flirt wrapped in insults. For the whole scale, see the full list of grades.
A stepmom waiting in the premise
The premise says the rivalry spirals into a secret romance and eventually pulls in their stepmom. That part belongs to the paid episodes. What the free pair sets up is the leverage: a debt, a chore, an offer and a stepbrother who enjoys holding all three.

Watch it if you like a feud that doubles as flirting and you can live without names or backstory. Look elsewhere if you want warmth early, because the free pair is mostly sniping.
